Search Blogs

Welcome & thank you for taking time to browse.

After writing almost 200 blogs over 7 years I realised how much support there was here & how hard it was for readers to find what they most needed.

I’ve therefore created a number of pages where you can find blogs about different topics. Those are quite broad & on this page you can dig deeper into areas which interest you.

I think the headings are self-explanatory, maybe with the exception of:

‘Lesley’s top picks, my favourite posts’ – this is a good place to start. These are a combination of those I really enjoyed writing & others which I think will be the most help to you.

Don't let your dreams ruin your life helpful process’- this was a series of blogs I wrote in early 2020, you’ll get the best out of them if you start with the earliest one!

‘Story’ – I am a great believer in the importance of owning your story as a positive step forward.

Please read a selection of different subjects & always with an open mind

I recommend that you take your times, always knowing that some will resonate with you & some won’t. And that’s perfect, because what supported me moving forward, might help you & it also might not.

In my blogs I usually ask questions, so I also encourage you to take time to answer them.

You can read much, much more in my book, Finding Joy Beyond Childlessness.

Christmas survival guide

By Lesley | November 30, 2018

It’s that time of year again and you can probably feel the tension and stress building. Maybe the idea of hiding somewhere until January sounds attractive but unfortunately that’s not possible. Like an out of control train, Christmas is coming and you can’t stop it. So it’s helpful to prepare yourself as much as you … Read more

How to bring joy into your life

By Lesley | November 20, 2018

The days are growing shorter and THAT time of year is almost upon us. Maybe you feel a sense of heaviness or dread and you’re thinking something like – what on earth is she talking about? Joy, what joy, there’s no joy in my life. I fully appreciate how unusual it is to see the … Read more

Does motherhood make you happy? I’m guessing you believe the answer is yes, especially as you tried so hard to be a mother. This year I’m really excited to be involved in and actively supporting World Childless Week between 10th and 16th September. World Childless Week (WCW) ‘aims to raise awareness of the childless not by choice (cnbc) community. To help the cnbc find support groups that understand their grief and can help them move forwards to acceptance’. It … Read more

150 blogs later and it all boils down to one question

By Lesley | August 7, 2018

As I started to write I realised this is my 150th blog, so what better time to look back and consider what I’ve learned during the almost 5 ½ years since I wrote the first one. I spent a while pondering what I wanted to say; the obvious blog would be to write about how … Read more

Here’s my story called ‘Realising that grief isn’t the enemy ‘ which was published in the August 2018 edition of Happiful Magazine. “After years of hiding her feelings of sadness and loss, Lesley Pyne was close to falling apart – but through therapy and yoga she found the power, strength and determination to transform her … Read more

It’s ALL about the story

By Lesley | June 29, 2018
